Fall Creek Falls – Tennessee

Fall Creek Falls-Toby Gant-2014I captured this image of Fall Creek Falls on my recent trip to the Tennessee State Park of the same name.  At 256 feet (78 meters), Fall Creek Falls is one of the tallest waterfalls in the US east of the Mississippi River.

I captured this image using my 16-35mm f/4, tripod mounted and using a circular polarizer. You can find more of my work on my website. Thanks for stopping by.

  1. Thanks for the kind words as always, Lavinia. I assumed looking at it that it was limestone. But, I wanted to be factual in my response. So, I did some research. Even though there is limestone throughout the park, this cliff is actually sandstone. Thanks for the question.

  2. Thanks for visiting and liking my photo. I love your photography. I hope I can take great photos like this one day 🙂

    • Thanks for the kind words, Olivia. You are too kind. I’m certain you’re going to be a wonderful photographer. You can see the creativity in your blog. The only other ingredient is practice. I’ll be following your progress on your blog.

      • Thanks for your kind words. I plan to upgrade my camera soon, and put more photos on my blog. I would love to be like Steve Parish who sells his photos in calendars, postcards and bookmarks.
