I escaped the confines of the indoors this morning and visited Crow Creek Falls near Lakemont, Georgia. The area near the falls is already showing signs of the autumn season with golden leaves dotting the landscape.
I captured this image using my 16-35mm f/4, tripod mounted and using a circular polarizer. I hope everyone else found an opportunity get outdoors this weekend. Thanks for stopping by.
Hi! Nice photo, I really like all the yellow leaves spreaded on the rocks, makes a good contrast to all of the green and brown. Yep, I took my camera for a walk twice (!) this weekend. Maybe not the best I could’ve done from a study-perspective, but it was worth it, the weather was great!
Happy to hear someone else was able to get out. Sorry to read about your lens. I hope you were able to get some sort of resolution.
Yes, that’s really what darkens my sun at the moment. Just have to find my papers from the purchase, if I’m lucky I might have some insurance… Thank you for your concerning!
nice work
Great photo! I wasn’t able to get out this weekend, but this photo definitely serves as inspiration!
Thanks for the nudge! I saw your photo, shut down the computer and hopped in the car. Now that’s inspiration!
I certainly hope you had a great time.
I always like how you catch the movement of the water in your waterfall photos. It’s great!
Thank you. I love your landscapes. You always show so much drama in the sky.
Gorgeous!
its gorgeous keep up the good work bro..
Hi there, I hope you don’t mind but I have nominated you for Travel Supermarket’s ‘Capture the Colour’ competition. I had to nominate five bloggers, and I hope everyone will enter. Check it out here: http://www.travelsupermarket.com/c/holidays/capture-the-colour/#enter. All the best, Tara
Gorgeous photo! The fluid movement of the water is something I have never been able to capture with my camera — it looks beautiful in your photo!
Try a tripod and a long exposure. Good luck to you. I’ll be following your posts.
Thanks Toby! My next goal has been to upgrade to a camera that I can set the exposure on, among other features. Now I’m REALLY anxious to!
Beautiful!
Absolutely beautiful.
Wow! So Beautiful! I’ve never seen much of Georgia’s natural landscape, but it sure looks pretty!
Lovely image… I can hear the water, smell the forest… nicely captured.
