Ok. You find yourself indoors with a variety of large objects in somewhat confined spaces. What do you do? You could go with your trusty go to wide-angle lens or you can grab your ultra wide fisheye lens. I opted for the latter on our recent trip to the Tellus Science Museum. There are so many negative things you could say about shooting with a fisheye. You could talk about the distortion or chromatic aberration. But, all that aside, a good fisheye lens is incredibly fun. Does anything else even matter? I think not. Working with a fisheye is incredibly fun all by itself. If you find things are getting a little routine, borrow or rent a fisheye. If that doesn’t put a smile on your face, you might need to have someone check you for a pulse. I captured this image of a Bell helicopter with my stellar 10.5mm f/2.8 DX lens.
